To be considered for inclusion in the Asian Digital Library, journals must meet the following requirements:
ISSN Registration
The journal must possess a valid International Standard Serial Number (ISSN).
Publishing Standards
The journal must adhere to internationally recognized scholarly publishing standards and best practices.
Editorial Board
An active, qualified, and internationally diverse editorial board must be in place.
Peer Review Process
A clearly defined, transparent, and consistently applied peer review system is mandatory.
Content Quality & Scope
The journal must publish original, relevant, and academically sound research with an international scope and readership.
Ethical Compliance
The journal must follow established publishing ethics, including policies on plagiarism, conflicts of interest, corrections, and retractions.
Transparency
Clear and accessible information regarding journal policies, fees, ownership, and editorial processes must be publicly available.
Publication Regularity
The journal must demonstrate a consistent and reliable publishing schedule.
The Asian Digital Library maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward unethical practices. ADL reserves the right to reject any application or remove a journal at any stage if:
Submitted information is found to be false, misleading, or incomplete.
The journal engages in deceptive, unethical, or predatory publishing practices.
There is evidence of compromised peer review, editorial misconduct, or violation of publication ethics.
Any confirmed instance of misconduct will result in immediate removal from the database without prior notice.
